St Werburghs an inner suburb adjoining the M32 motorway with a climbing centre and and City Farm which has been the hub of many environmental campaigns including the self build housing community. There are interesting shops and cafes on Mina Rd and a great park with an original example of a cast iron victorian lavatory as an art installation in the grounds.
Horfield a suburb comprising primarily Victorian housing that lies on Bristol's northern edge. The Gloucester Rd runs north/south through the suburb and there is a pleasant common, plentiful amenities, good shops, schools and links.
Stapleton a ribbon village in the Frome Valley to the North of the City is a popular residential area, home to many students who attend UWE in Filton. Stapleton's church is a prominent Bristol landmark and the suburb is home to the wonderful Snuff Mills nature reserve an area of dense woodland and natural beauty along the River Frome which is great for walks and cycling.
